coming home!

well, i am finally done with finals! and i am coming home!! finally!! see you in 12 hours!

STRESSED!!!!!!

finals week is here. i might die. or just get bad grades. we'll see =/

all i can say is pray for me.

thanksgiving break = pure joy!

well i am on break. i love it! i have watched 5 movies in the last 2 days and have watched TV! haha not that exciting, but i never watch tv so its great. cooking food, with really only 2 choices is hard and also not going out to eat is hard too. but i bought bacon, so i am going to fry some tomorrow is honor of thanksgiving. well, its time to brush those teeth and head to bed! its 2:24 am and i dont have school tomorrow....no bio quiz, no lab. this is going to be a good day..of course later...when i wake up. well. night!

almost break

well, not much has happened, but i am just tired all the time. i have a cold. it stinks. oh and my fish died this morning. but she was really sick, i knew it was coming. uh well, i didnt quite know what i was going to do with it during christmas break, well i guess nothing. its almost thanks giving break, 7 days of school days left, i need a break to sleep, chill, and watch movies...lots of movies. =]

Spiritual Emphasis Week

its Spiritual Emphasis Week at emmaus! we have a speaker, Dave Anderson from Colorado, who is here from a week. he speaks at all the morning chapels and monday thru wednesday at night. today it was on 1st thess. 3:11. that our love may increase, overflow, abound, when we do this we can get holiness and be more christ-like.

also i sometimes look nice for classes. so my hair is down and looks nice, and its getting really long! heres a picture to show you! well, its lunch time. =]

i didnt mention on sunday that it snowed! it was crazy cold on sunday!!!

but right now i am anticipating a good weekend! i dont have much homework at all!! yes!! that means lots of sleep and movies and hangin out!

oh and its pay day tomorrow!! so exciting!

i hate studying for biology. thats my life right now. bio. ughhhh

voting

well, i am voting in iowa, but for king county, wash. so thats good. but there is so many offices that i am voting for that i dont know or dont care who is elected. its my first voting experience and its been difficult to wrap my mind about what to vote for in amendments or who to vote for in the various offices. so. hopefully i do it right.

the LORD is always with me...and you =]

well, i have been learning some stuff lately. that i always try to use my on strength to make it through the day. let me tell you...it doesnt work. i cant do it. one of my favorite passages in the bible is Psalms 23 1:1-4:
1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. (want = lack)

2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, (you cant get sheep to lie down easily)
he leads me beside quiet waters,

3 he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.

4 Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

i am a dumb sheep that strays way but my LORD leads me and guides me in to still waters and paths to righteousness. but even when i walk in fear and trembling His staff and and rod comfort me because i know you are with me. you will provide all my needs and wants, and allow me to lack nothing. i dont have to rely of myself, cause He is here with me. its like the footsteps in the sand poem:

One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand:
one belonging to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him
he looked back, at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life
there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times of his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the LORD about it:
"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you,

this is beyond encouraging :) lots of quotes today..haha sorry. just my thoughts lately.

weird sickness today

i had this weird sickness today that i hated. i hate being sick! from my neck down i was just in pain. it was horrible. then, on top of that, i kept having hot and cold flashes. it was horrible. i had to skip chapel and biology. biology is a class i cant skip. oh well, i got to sleep. my throat still hurts though. they at 3pm i woke up and watch one of my favorite movies, What A Girl Wants =]

Barbara Ann

my fish's name is barbara ann. she is a very good fish and is a female betta. i actually have her because my friend Shannon bought her and named her to be a friend to her other fish Beatrice. as soon as barbara ann was in the same bowl as beatrice, beatrice freaked out! so i ran to get a different bowl. now she lives with me. i am so glad her is with me because Barbara Ann eats, alot, unlike my neighbor's fish. and lately she has been changing colors. my first thought after shannon brought her home was why did she buy this one...its ugly. just light brown tannish color. plain. but now she is changing to a dark with green scales and blue in her fins. its been fun to watch her. i put this plastic plant thing in her vase/bowl thing and she loves to swim in and out and around them. its cute :)

hello, its by new blog! i decided that i dont get to talk to many people, so i would write what been going on in my life here. i dont have much time today...right now at the moment because i will be leaving to go to NICC, community college 20 mins from school, for my macroeconomics class, i have been enjoying my classes there. i hope to update this blog when ever i can :)
